Eli
Crawford Wilson, son of Justin Wilson and Alexandra Crawford-Batt,
was born on December 18, 2004, at 3:51 a.m. Eli tipped the scales
at a very healthy 7 lbs, 10.6 oz, and 19.5 inches. Hobbies include
anatomy, rapid eye movement, and composting. That's about it so
far.
FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS
- What
was the initial inspiration for Eli?
Legislative history suggests that the founding parents hoped
to leave a legacy for future generations, crafting Eli as
a humanitarian, peacemaker, animal-lover, and guy-who-puts-the-seat-down.
That, and a huge tax deduction.
- Is
there any truth to the rumor that Eli is running for the 49th
House District?
Eli is humbled by the many phone calls and telegrams he's
received, encouraging him to run. It has always been his desire
to find an opportunity to serve the village that helped raise
him, but now is not that time. Citing family obligations and
certain constitutional "issues," Eli accepts the
honor but declines the nomination. Please note that Eli is
not affiliated with DraftEliWilson.net and regrets any confusion
that site may have caused.
- Has
Eli ruled out a future run for public office?
Certainly not. Eli is seriously considering the race for school
board, intent on doing whatever he can to improve our public
schools before he enrolls in them.
- How
can I support Eli's future political career?
Since campaign finance disclosure laws prevent Eli from accepting
political contributions before he has filed for a particular
office, donations should be made in the form of nonsequential,
unmarked Pampers.
- What
is Eli's position on stadium financing?
(Eli's position paper on this subject was accidentally soiled
and will be posted soon.)
- Is
Eli single?
Eli's parents look forward to his dating when the time is
right, and fully expect him to be Washingtonian's
Most Eligible Bachelor of 2034.
- Are
there any known bugs in the current version?
Overall, Eli has proven to be a remarkably robust, scalable
platform for long-term development and intelligent design.
The few documented bugs that currently exist (including variable
volume rates and the occassional buffer leak) should be mitigated
over the development lifecycle.
